Our background

Siobhan and Shelley have over 20 years in childcare experience between them and have worked at this setting for their whole childcare career gaining qualifications and experience within their time there.

They both found their passion for Childcare here and when the previous Owner decided to retire it was their perfect opportunity to take on the nursery they have known and loved for many years.

“A home from home caring approach”

At Dragonflies your child will be supported to learn and develop through fun and memorable experiences that stimulate his or her sense of exploration and discovery.

We’re located in a rural area with easy access to outstanding countryside. We place great emphasis on outdoor learning and physical activity, running weekly Forest School sessions in our setting.

ALL members of staff are trained in Paediatric First Aid.

Shelley is the Manager at Dragonflies. She lives in the Village of Badminton with her husband and daughter. She has two grown up children and a 5 year old Grandson. Shelley started at this setting as a general assistant, helping with cleaning and kitchen duties where she soon found she had a love for caring for young children and wanted to embark on a career in childcare.
